Party with Minnie!

As a child, I remember being completely obsessed with Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Even as an adult, I still go crazy over Mickey! I had the opportunity to go to Disney this past summer and had a ball! Let us just say the Mickey and Minnie craze is still in full effect! I made just party bags for this little girl, and she wanted to keep them for herself! Check them out!

Pink, purple, and blue. We want to paint with you!

This invitation and party bag was made for a faithful client. Her faithfulness has brought me a lot of new clients. It's always fun working with her, for she allows me to create whatever comes to mind. All she simply stated was that her daughter was turning three and having a party at Color Me Mine! She said she couldn't find anything with the number three! So I created away! I hope you like!

Let's Party like it's 1980!

Madonna's black lace glove, big shades with no lenses, fluffy tutus, bright colors, hot lipsticks, and spandex are in full effect!  If you are feeling the 80's fad, this invitation is for you! This invitation was made for a returning customer, who is a strong force in helping me get more business. Her daughter was having an 80's Sweet 16 party! Check out this design!

Zebra Print

Cheetah, Zebra, animal prints galore! Make your next party be "in style" with these fun animal prints.
I made this invitation for a returning client. I must say that she is a favorite of mine. Her daughter turned 3, and she went with the zebra, pink ,and black theme. The best part of making this invitation was receiving a thank you card in the mail raving about how much she and her guest enjoyed the invitation. She also sent me a picture of her little darling in her Zebra outfit. I hope you enjoy!

Greeting Cards

Here are some past greeting cards that I created to give to people. Handmade greeting cards allow YOU to say whatever it is you want to say. When people receive handmade greeting cards, it makes them feel like you really took the time and effort to give them something set apart from the rest. I hope you enjoy!

This was for a card made for a friend who was in the hospital. Yes, those are real Band-Aids!

This is a nice, simple card that can be given to a male.

This card was made for a sweet little princess who turned two.

This card was made for my hairdresser. She had a baby boy.

I made this card AND  the vase in the back, but the vase is not for sale! LOL

I made this congratulations card for a co-worker. She is having twins!

Rustic/Vintage Cards

How many of you have ever gone into the store to pick out a greeting card and nothing jumped out at you, or the messages in the cards were not saying what you wanted them to say? Handmade greeting cards are a perfect way to show or tell someone that you are thinking of them, you wish them the best, or congratulations.
Creating invitations started out from my hobby of card making. Being that I am a teacher and I am off in the summers, I spent endless hours last summer making lots and lots of cards. Here are a set of 5 thank you cards I made. They have a nice vintage/rustic feel to them!

All 5 of them together. The vase in the background was made by me, but it is not for sale! LOL

Graduation

It is that time of year! The class of 2012 finished high school, and now they are off to colleges and trade schools, etc. To give ode to a boy I knew for all 18 years of his life, I made a banner that said "Moving Forward to Greatness..Mario". I also made the candy buffet place cards...mmm. There were lots of delicious  candies on the table. Let's just say for a person who tries to deny her sweet craving, it was very tempting! LOL. I must admit I indulged. Here are the pictures of the work I did. I hope you like!

The beginning and the end of the banner had a look alike diploma on it.

His banner had a total of three layers of paper and pop out letters with a black shadow behind it!

His school emblem was printed on the banner! Look alike diplomas were added to the banner as well.

These are the candy buffet place cards; they were made to look diplomas.
Each place card was interchangeable.

This is how they looked on the candy table.

This was the final look with the banner and candy table.

This is the greeting card I made for him!
I hope you enjoyed the banner and candy buffet place cards.

Bible Invitation

The baby was being named after a person from the Bible. So the mom wanted the invitation to reflect just that. Here is what I created for this mom to be!

The invitation was made in a Bible shape. The information was printed on an insert that was made like a bookmark. The mom personally called to thank me and tell me how many people raved about these invites! A banner was made as well for the party. Let your baby come in "in style".

This was the gift bag made for little Ezekiel's gift!

I hope you enjoyed this invitation!
