Personalized Housewarming Gift
Centered Around You creates things that are All About You, which is why we were excited to create this personalized gift for a housewarming party. Everyone loves candles, so what better way to display your candles than with personalized stands. This gift was fun to make. The couple's decor displayed warm earth tone colors. Therefore, wooden blocks were decorated with scrapbook papers with tan and brown designs. Things also look better when they are given an aged look. Then each block had a letter of their last name. On the final wooden block, the year they were married was adhered to the block. A keepsake box was made to hold the personalized votive wooden block stands. Also, a handmade gift bag and card were made to give to the couple.

An intricate design!
Centered Around You Creations had the pleasure of designing and making invitations for someone close and dear. We believe that a wedding should be personal, so having custom invites were a must! My sister wedding colors are purple and silver, so pearlized layers of paper were used to create this intricate design. I hope you enjoy this post as much as she enjoyed the invites.

Welcome New Baby!
Centered Around You LOVES creating handmade gifts for people. It's the perfect way to let people know that you really put thought into their gift! Today I bring a gift that was made for a co-worker's soon to be new baby girl. It's the couple first child, so the gift had to be extra special! What better way to hold onto memories than a keepsake box. Also, a doorknob hanger was made with the baby's name! A lion was added for the last name of the family! A gift card, card also was made! Enjoy!

Mexican Themed Bridal Shower!
So I started helping to plan my sister's bridal shower with her Maid of Honor. I did not want to go with your typical Bridal shower ideas, so I decided to opt for something not so traditional. We served tacos, fajitas, taco salad, and dirty rice! We even had sangria! I captured the Mexican theme with bright and vibrant colors! One of the table centerpieces were wedding phrases written in English and Spanish! I also made Mexican paper flowers as a centerpiece. Salsa, taco sauce, and sour cream were served in large margarita glasses. It was all delicious and beautiful! The banner was made with raffia and small clothes pins. The shower took place yesterday, and it was a blast! Here's her shower at a glance! Enjoy!
